White Beach Tourist Park offers a relaxed atmosphere coupled with quality facilities and direct beach access. All our powered and Motorhome sites have access to water, grey water drainage & power outlets.

Close to all sites are clean amenities and laundry facilities. A  camp kitchen dining/tv room makes camping comfortable.

We also offer gas BBQ’s and pizza oven, a children’s playground, free wi-fi for basic use, a dump point and a kiosk offering icecreams and basics.

Conditions of Your Stay

White Beach Tourist Park Conditions

All patrons need to read and observe the following Park Conditions.

The cabin or site booked is provided to you- the named guest on the booking. I.D may be requested on arrival. The booking is not transferrable to another person without prior Management approval. As the Principal guest you are responsible for fees due and the behaviour of any others booked to stay on your site/cabin. If you have any questions – please ask us before your stay. During your stay if you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to discuss with Park Management/Office staff.

Children and infants are the sole responsibility of their parent/caregiver and must be supervised at all times while on the Park property.

No Pets                            No generators               No Fires No electric car charging

Office and Kiosk Hours 9am to 5pm (Seasonal hours may apply – check google page)

Arrival and Departure: Check In Time: Sites from 11am.  Cabins from 2pm   Check Out Time Sites and Cabins by 10am.

Note: Anyone intending to arrive after office hours must pre-book and pay before 5pm to confirm a site/cabin is available to avoid an after hours call out fee.

Any fees still due are to be paid on or before arrival.  Note: A credit/debit card may need to be produced – if not already provided.

Site allocation/Restrictions  We will endeavour to keep you on the site you have requested however we cannot guarantee a particular site.  Site Restrictions: Sites 3,4,5,6 are tent sites where you park beside not on the site.  Sites 13-18 motorhome/campervans – no towed vehicles/tents/swags to be on these sites.  Sites 47-52 no tents/swags allowed on these sites.

One vehicle per site/cabin.  A Site holder will be issued with one boom gate code to allow any one vehicle in the Park at any one time. If you have two vehicles one vehicle will therefore need to exit before the other can enter – including when unloading or packing up.  Boats go into the boatyard and additional cars/trailers into front grassed carpark.  Every effort will be made to accommodate extra vehicles/boats however access to the carpark and boatyard is subject to availability and not guaranteed. 

Cabins are serviced weekly i.e. for stays of more than 6 nights only. Change of towels/linen are available during office hours but may incur a cost.  A coin laundry is located in the Park. On arrival the main bed will be made up and linen for any additional paying guests will be placed on the bunkbeds. 

Amenity and Cabin Keys: Any key lost/not returned on departure will incur a $15.00 charge.

Noise and Behaviour:  All guests have a right to the peaceful enjoyment of their site. Excessive noise, unruly/offensive behaviour is not tolerated at any time of the day or night. Park quiet time  is 10pm-7am when it is expected that noise from any source e.g. social gatherings, games, tv, music etc, is not audible from neighbouring sites/cabins.  Shared areas including playground and roads are not to be used for playing/gathering during this time. 

Guests are not to enter another site without their authority. Any person/s that intentionally or through careless use damages Park property (or that of other guests) will be held responsible for repair/replacement costs.  

Safety and Security in the Park 

RISK WARNING  Park Management warn all persons who engage in any activity for recreation, leisure or relaxation that the pursuit of such activities may result in harm or serious personal injury.  All persons who engage in recreational activities do so at their own risk. Children and infants must be supervised by an adult at all times. By entering the Park, it is accepted by all guests that all activities including recreational activities are not free of risk and that park management is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from such activities. On entry, it is also agreed that park management, owners, employees or agents are indemnified against all claims for injury, loss, damage or theft of property.

Visitors  Access to White Beach Tourist Park, our facilities, carpark and private beach access is strictly limited to guests booked in to stay overnight on your site/cabin.  Inviting/allowing any others into the Park is considered a breach of your stay conditions.

Roads in the Park are shared with vehicles and pedestrians. All vehicles need to keep to a walking speed limit (6kmh).  Bikes and scooters may only be ridden in the Park during daylight hours and only if the rider (including adults) wear a safety helmet.  No skateboards, hoverboards or electric/motorised scooters/bikes (there is a skatepark located in Nubeena). Children who are not traffic aware i.e. experienced in riding on public roads either stay off the roadways or be accompanied by an adult.  No playing or riding near the Entry and Exit gates or on the main driveway into the Park (the area out of bounds is clearly shown on the Park Map which will be issued on arrival).

Roads/paths/empty sites must be kept clear of stationary vehicles/bikes/toys at all times.  Please do not attach ropes and lines to trees or Park structures.  

Playground equipment can be used from 7am to 9pm during daylight hours only.  Children under 12 years must have adult supervision when on the playground equipment area. No bikes/scooters to be ridden or left on the softfall area.

Common grassed playground area can be used from 7am to 10pm

Amenity Block – Young children must be accompanied by an adult when in the camp kitchen and amenity blocks.  Strictly No Entry while the main daily cleaning is in progress. While one facility is closed the other Facility is deemed Unisex and available to all –  Check the signage on the door for current situation.

Wifi for basic use is available at no charge and you will be given access details on arrival.

Notes:  Management reserve the right to apply discretion at any time for any reason e.g. noise limits for special events. 

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

High Peak – December 23rd to end of January, Long weekend periods Hobart Regatta, 8 Hour Day,  Easter and Hobart Show.  Unless otherwise confirmed – Deposit of the first two night’s tariff must be paid when booking with any balance to be paid on or prior to check in. No refunds for cancellations or changes within 28 days of the arrival date. Refunds of deposits (less $35.00 admin fee) will only be payable for cancellations or changes more than 28 days prior to arrival.  Any increase to guest numbers must be requested at least 7 days prior to arrival as Management reserve the right to limit guest numbers in the Park without notice.  

February to end April and October to December 22nd (excluding Hobart Regatta, 8 Hour day, Easter and Hobart Show holiday periods)   –A deposit of the first night’s tariff is required when booking  with any balance to be paid on or prior to check in.  Any increase to guest numbers must be requested at least 3 days prior to arrival as Management reserve the right to limit guest numbers in the Park without notice.  No refunds for cancellations or changes within 5 days of the arrival date.  Refunds of deposits (less $35.00 admin fee) will only be payable for cancellations/changes more than 5 days prior to arrival

May to September inclusive.  Unless otherwise confirmed – A deposit of the first night’s tariff is required when booking with any balance to be paid on or prior to check in.  No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the arrival date.  Refunds of deposits will only be payable (less $35.00 administration fee) for cancellations more than 48 hours prior to arrival date

Advance Bookings: Changes to pricing and conditions may occur and we will notify you if that affects your booking. In that event you will have 7 days to advise if you wish to continue with the booking.  If not, we will refund any deposit already paid in full.
