About Our Park
White Beach Tourist Park offers a relaxed atmosphere coupled with quality facilities and direct beach access. All of our powered sites have access to water & modern power outlets.
Close to all sites are excellent amenities and laundry facilities. A camp kitchen dining/tv room makes camping comfortable. We also offer electric and gas BBQ’s, a children’s playground, free wi-fi, Dump Point, kiosk offering icecreams and basics. Swap gas bottles or refills available.
White Beach Tourist Park Conditions
All patrons are requested to read and observe the following Park Conditions of your stay with us. If you have any concerns before or during your stay please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Ensure all those travelling with you are aware of the conditions of your stay. Children are the responsibility of their parent/caregiver and at all times must be supervised to an appropriate level given their age and/or abilities.
No Pets No generators
Office and Kiosk Hours 9am to 5pm (extended Oct-April)
Arrival and Departure
Check In Time Sites from 11am. Cabins from 2pm
Check Out Time Sites and Cabins by 10am
If you require an earlier check-in or late check-out check availability at least the day before your expected arrival or departure.
All fees payable to be paid on or before arrival. Refer to our Booking/Cancellation Policies below for details.
We will endeavour to keep you on the site/cabin you have requested however we are unable to guarantee you a particular site/cabin.
One vehicle per site/cabin. Trailers and additional cars to go into carpark. Boats into the boatyard. Every effort will be made to accommodate extra vehicles/boats however access to the carpark and boatyard is subject to availability.
We appreciate you keeping your site/cabin surrounds in a clean and tidy condition. Please use the facilities provided for drying clothes and rubbish and recycling disposal (refer to Map for location)
Amenity and Cabin Keys: Any key lost/not returned on departure will incur a $10.00 charge.
Noise and Behaviour
All site/cabin occupiers have a right to the peaceful and quiet enjoyment of their site. Excessive noise, unruly/offensive behaviour will not be tolerated at any time of the day or night
Any person/s that have intentionally or through careless use damaged Park property (or that of other guests) may be evicted and held responsible for repair costs. This includes the boom gates/key pads which are out of bounds except for cars entering and exiting.
Park quiet time 10pm-7am. When noise from any source e.g. social gatherings, games, tv, music etc, is not to be audible from neighbouring sites/cabins
Use of our facilities including entertainment, beach access and facilities/services are limited to booked in guests staying overnight. There is no obligation for Management to allow Park access to anyone other than those pre-booked on your site/cabin.
Check with Management prior to your stay if you wish to invite day visitors. Refer to our Booking/Cancellation Policies
Wifi is available and you will be given details on arrival
Safety and Security in the Park
Children under 7 must be supervised when visiting the shower/toilet block, kitchen, event room and playground. Older children in these areas should be supervised adequately
Playground is able to be used from 7am to 9pm (or dark if earlier). Children must be adequately supervised. Use of playgrounds is at the users’ risk.
Roads are shared with vehicles and pedestrians. Children should keep off roadways unless road safety aware. All vehicles including bicycles/scooters need to keep to speed limit and follow the one-way system.
Roads/paths must be kept clear of stationary vehicles/bikes/toys at all times.
Do not enter another person’s site without their authority
Lines and ropes are not to be attached to trees or any Park structures
Speed Limit 6 kph (walking pace) for all vehicles and bicycles
Bikes and Scooters (also refer to Safety and Security)
Bikes and scooters may only be ridden in the Park during daylight hours - ALL riders must wear a safety helmet. No skateboards, hoverboards or motorised scooters etc
No riding on the footpath around the amenity block or in the soft fall play equipment area. Children must not play or ride near (or through the Entry and Exit gates or on the main driveway.
Site Entry and Exit - One way system (cabins are not inside boomgates)
A site holder will be issued with one boom gate code and can have one vehicle on their site at any one time. If you have two vehicles one vehicle will need to exit before the other can enter – including when unloading or packing up.
The code must be used to enter and exit (even if gate arm is up). Do not tailgate or share the code with other sites as it will affect your ability to enter/exit the park later.
Amenity Block – Female and Male Facilities
No entry while cleaning is in progress however the other Facility will be deemed Unisex and available for urgent use of toilets. Refer to signage on amenity doors for cleaning times and current situation.
Fires on Sites:
Mid October to March inclusive. No Fires. Gas bbqs/heaters only
April to mid October (excl Easter) Firepots will be considered on allocated “fire allowed” sites but must be approved prior to arrival
Management may elect to apply discretion for a particular reason or event e.g. New Year’s Eve
BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS
By confirming your booking at White Beach Tourist Park you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions above and the Cancellation Policy below:
Administration Fee: $35.00 per site/cabin. Booking and Cancellation Policy will depend on the date of your booking as below:
Peak period - Christmas/New Year break, February and March Public holiday weekends, Easter break and October Hobart Show day “weekend”
Minimum stay is two nights. Deposit of the first two night’s tariff must be paid when booking or by the requested date with any balance to be paid on or prior to check in.
No refunds for cancellations or changes within 21 days of the arrival date.
Refunds of deposits will only be processed (less administration fee) for cancellations more than 21 days prior to arrival
Any increase to guest numbers must be advised to us at least 7 days prior to arrival as Management reserve the right to limit guest numbers in the Park without notice
Mid Peak period - December to April excluding Christmas/New Year break, February and March Public holiday weekends and Easter break
A deposit of the first night’s tariff is required when booking or by the requested date with any balance to be paid on or prior to check in.
Any increase to guest numbers must be advised to us at least 48 hours prior to arrival as Management reserve the right to limit guest numbers in the Park without notice
No refunds for cancellations or changes within 7 days of the arrival date.
Refunds of deposits will only be processed (less administration fee) for cancellations more than 7 days prior to arrival
Off Peak period - May to November excluding Hobart Show “weekend”
Cabins: A deposit of the first night’s tariff is required when booking or by the date requested with any balance to be paid on or prior to check in.
Sites: One night deposit is required on booking unless otherwise advised.
No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the arrival date. Refunds of deposits will only be processed (less administration fee) for cancellations more than 48 hours prior to arrival date
Extraordinary situations: If you are unable to keep your booking due to Government or Local Authority Restrictions directly affecting your ability to travel or our Park’s ability to accommodate you, a full refund or credit will be offered.
